Resources on the web and in the Connelly Library about Educational Technology

Ask a Librarian!

Welcome!

This library guide explores the resources available at La Salle University's Connelly Library and beyond for supporting work with Educational Technology.  Let's start by looking at what departments are in the physical library:

Located on the lower level of the Connelly Library, the Audio Visual Department (A/V) and Instructional Materials Center (IMC) provide La Salle students and faculty with a range of media tools to enhance studies.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS CENTER

The IMC’s collection contains elementary, secondary, and special education instructional materials selected for the use of La Salle's Education students and faculty. Over 2,500 items are available, including textbooks, games, kits, slides, filmstrips, videos and software.

Current files of local school curriculum and instructional materials publishers catalogs are available for use in the library.

Visit the IMC's page on the Connelly Library website by clicking here.

THE AUDIO/VISUAL DEPARTMENT

The A/V Department is closely aligned with the IMC, and houses over 5,500 videos on VHS and DVD, including features, documentaries, and educational topics. We are constantly adding new materials, so be sure to subscribe to our RSS feed to keep up with new materials, and check our department's webpage frequently.
